But now the billionaire battle is for space, albeit short, suborbital flights. Jeff Bezos, who is the richest man in the world, announced he would fly in his Blue Origin’s new shepard spacecraft. Then Richard Branson decided that he would take an hour-long jaunt on his Virgin Galactic VSS Unity space plane. He arrived, he floated in zero gravity and he conquered. And the Elon Musk, who is the founder of SpaceX, has bought a ticket on Branson’s rocket, to travel space.

While their space observation is interesting to expand our knowledge horizons beyond this planet, some critics say that it is a waste of money set aside for personal useless projects because there are so many problems to solve on earth and these are merely an attempt to elevate their dimension and surpass others.
